Alexander Boytsov

Deputy General Director, Atomredmetzoloto Uranium Holding (ARMZ)

Alexander Boytsov was born on August 9, 1955.

He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Geological Studies in 1977 and completed his post-graduate studies (PhD, Geology & Mineralogy) at the National Research Institute of Chemical Technologies in 1984.

Mr. Boytsov authored and co-authored over 85 publications in Russia and overseas. He is an IAEA expert and uranium working group member.

He started his career in 1977 and worked as a senior research fellow of the Geology Department at the National Research Institute of Chemical Technologies until 1986.

Alexander was Chief Geologist at Vismooth mining branch (Eastern Germany) from 1986 to 1990, and Chief Research Fellow at the National Research Institute of Chemical Technologies in 1990 — 2001.

In 2001 — 2006, Mr. Boytsov was Section Chief and Deputy Chief of Mining Section at TVEL; he worked as Director, Resource Policy Department, at TENEX.

Mr. Boytsov has been Deputy Director General, Atomredmetzoloto, since August 2007.
