The 7th Mining and Exploration forum and expo “MINEX Russia 2011” will be held at the Radisson Slavyanskaya Hotel in Moscow on 4 – 6 October 2011.

MINEX forum is a premier mining business event in Russia which brings together over 500 mining professionals from Russia and abroad. This year the main theme of the forum will be “Russia – Open for business” highlighting key positive developments and emerging business opportunities for new ventures in the mineral exploration and mining sector in the Russia.

Building on the success of the previous forum organised in October 2010 – and also its sister event in April 2011 – the forum will extend technical and business focused sessions which will be complimented by technical master classes for mining professionals preceding the main forum.

Committed to stimulate closer links between academic and business worlds MINEX forum will extend its Mining Students’ Day and will also run for the first time Academic Podium sessions designed to highlight academic and research studies on mining efficiency and innovative solutions.

Organised alongside the main forum, two-day Business Exhibition and Business Podium sessions will offer exhibiting companies excellent visibility and presentation opportunities enabling them to attract new business.

MINEX TV launched earlier this year at the MINEX Moscow Mining Club will help with extending the forum’s key messages and expert views to wider audiences thanks to new on-line technologies.

Representatives of mining universities and mining students will be offered up to 50% discretionary registration discounts.
